Tensioning System Release Photos
Since this
package is hard to visualize we have placed a photo
description of how it works below. This is a new version
that supports pulley systems as well as ratchets.
So here's how it
works:
Place the slide
lock on the main line prior to tensioning the system.

If you fill up
the ratchet spool before you have the desired tension pull
the slide lock tight as shown and release the ratchet.
The slide lock will catch the tension and you can fully
release the ratchet while the lock holds the line. Unwind
all of the slack on the spool and get another bite. This
will give you the ability to tighten the line to dangerously
tight levels. Once desired tension is met, tighten it
two full inches more to make up for the rocking of the lock
into place and pull it tight and release the ratchet. This
now works to reset the throw in a pulley based tensioning
system as well.

Now you can remove the
tensioning system completely from your anchors and slack.
When finished,
simply undo the release hitch to slowly let the line down.
