An affordable and quick solution for those wanting ot make their own compact and highly portable slackline system. Please note that you may need help pulling this line tight so having a buddy handy is a good idea. You may also find a Two Person Pull Handle very helpful. Color will vary. Main line width is industry standard of 1" (25mm). For alternative line widths, we have other slackline kits.
80 Feet of 1 inch tubular webbing - 4,000 lb test or greater with sewn loop on one end
3 Climbing Grade carabiners (or pick different numbers below)
6 foot tied tree sling
You tie your own knots and learn to rig it yourself. This kit intentionally comes with no instructions, but many options can easily be found on the web. They do not come with instructions since there are so many little variations on how to rig this kit., the most common is a 3:1 using carabiners.
I’d gladly post instructions if there was only one way that people rigged primitive systems. Unfortunately, there are closer to two dozen methods all with subtle changes, pros and cons. I’d recommend you take a look at these two videos to get an idea of how the line gets set up and the second one is to show some of the limitations and pitfalls of the design (and how to overcome them).
A setup video (uses the 4:1 style using 5 carabiners – setup is very similar to 3:1)

The Typical Primitive Experience (requires a sense of humor, but is actually educational on friction ratios, shows the difference between 3:1 and 4:1)
