The Plus is like the basic but with a cape! Ok, maybe not, but it does offer more carabiners for higher mechanical advantage, a longer main line and a two person pull handle to tighten said longer line. Color will vary. Main line width is industry standard of 1" (25mm). For alternative line widths, we have other slackline kits.
(5) oval non-locking carabiners
(1) 90 foot mainline with a sewn loop on one end
(2) 10 foot adjustable tree sling
(1) 2 person pull handle
Sorry, no instructions come with this kit as there are too many different ways of rigging it for us to support them all. Please note that you will probably require some help to pull medium and long lines tight so we included a two person pull handle for you and a buddy.
I’d gladly post instructions if there was only one way that people rigged primitive systems. Unfortunately, there are closer to two dozen methods all with subtle changes, pros and cons. I’d recommend you take a look at these two videos to get an idea of how the line gets set up and the second one is to show some of the limitations and pitfalls of the design (and how to overcome them).
A setup video (uses the 4:1 style using 5 carabiners – setup is very similar to 3:1)

The Typical Primitive Experience (requires a sense of humor, but is actually educational on friction ratios, shows the difference between 3:1 and 4:1)

The kit above comes with everything you need to setup, but we strongly recommend that you consider protecting your investment (and your trees) with a form of padding. Many things will work, but if you want, we've got some great padding options listed below so you have everything you will need in the box when it arrives.
